    Teaching Pharmacology:
Teaching students of 2nd year M.B.B.S, M.D. (Pharmacology), 2nd year B.D.S., Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Nursing diploma.

Medical Education Technology (MET):
Dr. R.P. Nerurkar is a member of MET cell and PG Academic Committee and has organized workshops on Research Methodology for the PG students of Nair Hospital

  • Educational : Experimental pharmacology laboratory. Animals from the central animal house are used for the experiments. Pharmacy laboratory.

  • Research : PG Research laboratory has various instruments for research.

  • Patient Care : The department has a Nuclear Medicine unit, which has 1 SPECT camera and Radio-immunoassay (RIA) facilities. Semen analysis is done in the department for the hospital patients

    Dhanvantari Hall: (A/c mini auditorium with a seating capacity for 60 persons)
    It is situated on the second floor. This facility was made available on 30-3-2006 with the financial assistance from TNMC Global alumni. It is used for Scientific Meetings and is maintained and looked after by the Department of Pharmacology.
