SPECT Camera at the Nuclear Medicine Unit
SPECT Camera at the Nuclear Medicine Unit		 The Nuclear Medicine unit of pharmacology department offers to poor patients state-of-the art facilities at the most economical rate in the city of Mumbai.

The Dept has acquired a new Dual head Gamma Camera - e.Cam signature series recently.

    		•  The department timings are from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

    		•  It is situated on the second floor of the OPD building (OPD 218).

    		•  All appointments have to be taken in person.


    The various scans done and the costs incurred are as follows:

    Bone scan 150 Monday, Wednesday
    Liver scan (Phytate) 150 Thursday
    Hepatobiliary scan (Bulida) 150 Thursday
    Renal scan (DTPA) 150 Friday
    Milk scan (for Gastro-oesophageal reflux) 150 Thursday
    Lung Ventilation-perfusion scan 850 Tuesday
    Thyroid scan 100 Monday, Wednesday
    Thyroid Uptake scan 250  

  •  
    		•  T3, T4, TSH blood levels are also done in our department, the total charges for which are Rs. 200.
  •  
    		•  Radioiodine therapy for thyrotoxicosis is also given here; the charges for which are Rs. 2050 for 10mCi 131I.
