    Training Of Undergraduates:

    Students of II and III MBBS, Audiology and Speech therapy, Occupational therapy, Physiotherapy, Nursing students are trained. Training includes didactic lectures, bedside clinics, OPD clinics, daily ward rounds, and demonstration of various procedures and management of emergency cases.


    Training Of Postgraduates:

    Training of postgraduates [MD, DCH, and DNB candidates] is an integral part of departmental activities. It includes teaching rounds, daily bed side clinics, journal review meetings, monthly grand statistical meetings, clinical pathology meetings, radiology meetings, monthly seminars, quiz, interesting cases discussion, inter-hospital clinical meetings. They are also guided in collection of data, its analysis, reference work and writing of their dissertations.


    Other Activities:

    Besides all the above activities, department has also organized workshops on intensive pediatric care, workshop on clinical perspectives in pediatric radioimaging, workshop on asthma, seminar on common respiratory diseases, lactation management, lecture series in clinical genetics, workshop in neonatal resuscitation for interns, pediatric quiz for undergraduates. The post graduate students also participate in the neonatology quiz for Pg students conducted through the National Neonatology Forum.
