Specific Care for "At Risk Neonates":

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for sick newborns

    The sick full term babies & the low birth weight (Preterm & IUGR) babies are transferred to the Neonatal Intensive Care & Premature Care units where the following facilities are available:

Isolation & Warmth : Warmer care
Clinical Monitoring : By Trained Staff
Respiratory Care : Oxygen Therapy
Hyperbilirubinemia : Phototherapy &
Exchange Transfusion
Sepsis : Antibiotics
Nutrition : Parenteral &
Enteral feeding


Follow Up Care in OPD:

Well Baby Clinic Wed & Fri
10 am - 12 noon
Immunization
Growth Monitoring
Counseling
Health Education
Lactation OPD Wed & Fri
10 am - 12 noon
Lactation Management
Perinatal HIV baby follow up
High Risk OPD Neurodevelopment follow-up Multidisciplinary approach
