  • Therapeutic drug monitoring is done using HPLC (Advanced Software WINCATS).

    Host Defense Laboratory:

  • PMN and monocyte function tests. It is done to establish a relationship between the host's response to infection on the Basis of Prakriti of an individual.


    Image Analysis Laboratory:

  • Microscope with Advanced software for imaging, Spectrophotometer with WINASPECT software, Gas chromatography machine.


    Microbiology Laboratory:

  • Anti-mycobacterial and Anti-microbial activity of various plant extracts are carried out in this lab.


    Immuno assay Laboratory:

  • Radioimmunoassay & ELISA for various immunological assays.


    Central Animal house facility (Reg No. 407/01/a/CPCSEA, 25th April 2001):

  • The facilities are currently being looked after by Department of Clinical Pharmacology. The animal house has facilities for carrying out various animal experiments, The department houses rats, mice, rabbits and guinea pigs for experimental purposes. The animal house is spacious enough to house up to 500 animals at a time.


    Future plans and Development:

    The department plans to develop and set up the following activities:

  • State of the art Phase I unit for clinical trials.

  • Centre of Excellence for Clinical Pharmacology.
  •  
  • Impart training and research in Clinical Pharmacology of traditional medicine.
  •  
  • Up gradation of animal house facilities.
  •  
  • Isolation unit for performing state of the art animal tissue experiments.
